The Sachs Recreation Center is the new home of North Shore Rhythmic Gymnastics. The sport combines ballet, gymnastics, and creative/theatrical dance movements, while participants manipulate balls, hoops, clubs, or ribbons.
Preschool Rhythmic Gymnastics - (Age: 3-4)
Gymnasts will fall in love with rhythmic gymnastics through creative dance, fun with apparatus, coordination and fl exibility exercises that are interwoven with music.
Beg Rhythmic Gymnastics - (Age: 5-18)
If you like music, dance, tumbling, and creativity, you have to try rhythmic gymnastics. It combines the beauty and artistry of dance with the strength and power of tumbling. Gymnasts perform routines to music using hand apparatus such as ribbons, balls, hoops, ropes and clubs. In the beginner class, girls will learn the basic body positions, elementary apparatus handling and musicality.
